Last week, BWH Hotels proudly honoured outstanding achievements across its collection at the BWH Hotels Gala Dinner, held during our Annual Members Conference. The event brought together hotels, teams, and individuals from across Great Britain to celebrate those who continue to exemplify the very best of independent hospitality.
The BWH Hotel Awards recognises hotels and professionals who consistently demonstrate excellence—delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving commercial success, embracing brand programmes, and upholding the shared values that define the BWH Hotels community. “We extend our sincere thanks to every shortlisted hotel and finalist,” said Tim Rumney, CEO. “Your dedication, passion, and commitment to quality are what set our collection apart.”
This year’s award categories showcased achievements across key areas including guest satisfaction, revenue performance, digital conversion, sustainability, sales, and brand engagement.
Each winner demonstrated remarkable growth, innovation, and teamwork throughout the year—contributing to the continued strength and reputation of the BWH Hotels network. BWH Hotels now looks ahead to another year of collaboration, progress, and hospitality that continues to raise industry standards.
BWH Hotels Long Service Awards
This year’s AMC celebrated remarkable milestone anniversaries—each one a testament to long‑standing partnership, loyalty and shared ambition.
Leading the honours was Blunsdon House Hotel, BW Premier Collection, marking an extraordinary 50 years with the brand and showcasing the Clifford family’s commitment to blending local heritage with the strategic support of BWH Hotels. We also recognised a series of outstanding 40‑year anniversaries for Best Western Moores Central Hotel, Best Western Royal Hotel, Best Western York House Hotel and the Best Western George Hotel, each showcasing four decades of exceptional service and guest care.
Our 35‑year milestone was awarded to the much‑loved Best Western Premier Mount Pleasant Hotel, followed closely by a cluster of remarkable 30‑year anniversaries celebrated by Best Western Hilcroft Hotel, Best Western Princes Marine Hotel, Best Western Plus Milford Hotel and Best Western New Kent Hotel.
Rounding out our honours, both Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel – Canterbury and Best Western George Hotel celebrated 25 years in brand, further demonstrating long‑term commitment to quality, community and independent spirit. Congratulations to all our incredible hotels celebrating a milestone, from 1 year to 50, here’s to the next chapter, together.
